How long is pilot training?

Earning your first pilot certificate requires a minimum of 40 hours, but we tailor your training to your pace depending on your goals! If you are interested in accelerated training, we offer the following:

- Private Pilot Certificate: 12 weeks
- Instrument Rating: 12 weeks
- Commercial Pilot Certificate: 10 weeks
- CFI & CFII: 6 weeks

How much do pilot lessons cost?

Lessons are priced based on the instructor and the aircraft/simulator used. Legion Air is proud to offer a 5% discount on all pre-payments of $2000 or more!

- Instructor: $60/hr
- Simulator: $60/hr
- Aircraft: $180/hr
